Hi
SI pain is supposed be common and often ignored by the docs as disc problems are far more trendy. But if you type it in your search engine there are loads of sites with good info.
I bought myself an SI belt - comfortable but not a resolution for my pain. Check them out.
A PT will also help the daignosis on SI pain...they do tests and one of them is called a stork test - pressing on your SI joints.
I hope you get sorted soon.

I'm changing my post on this subject since with recent treatments I have found that I have several several symptoms related to Bilateral Sacroiliitis.
I recentally found out that I have Bilateral Sacroiliitis. How my spine surgeon found this in a refusion done in feb, I don't know. but when I received some clinical notes he states in almost every visit that he thinks some of my pain is comming from my SI joints. I have so much low back, neck pain that I don't know what the symptons are like, or, i have alot of on going problems that I forget to ask him what the symptoms are.
Here are some of the symptoms that i suffer from:
Sitting feels like you are holding lots of heavy weight and sitting on cement.
lots of burning and stabbing feeling in the buttom area and aching pain going into back of legs.
Popping feeling with every change of position, laying down, standiong up, using restroom, streatching, bending.
Laying on sides to watch TV or to sleep feels like someone is sitting on you.
These are all very simular to lumbar pain, just wondering who else here suffers from any type of SI Joint problems
